Position : ETL Architect Location : CT Duration: Contractlongterm Rate: open Scope of Work The scope of this RFP is to provide design expertise for new and existing projects and also provide improvements to our ETL/DATABASE/BOXI environments. Below is the list of High Level expectations for these resources 1. Work directly with BI program managers and/or with functional users to identify, analyze reporting/dashboard requirements, translate them into DB/ETL/Reporting design specifications documents, with details on the approach to address and resolve the business needs. 2. Accountable for end to end design on DB/ETL/Reporting requirements by owning the design phase of the project 3. Work closely with the development teams during the development phase of the project to ensure: a. Proper standards and processes are followed b. Design in fact meets the requirements CTQs c. proper unit/integrated test plans are written and tested d. Migration checklist is prepared 4. Prepare and own the logical and physical data model for the entire DW 5. Prepare and own the developer naming standards for DB/ETL/Reporting environments 6. Support any Migration/Conversion of Autosys/database/Informatica or BOXI upgrade in terms of validation, providing expertise in design changes and strategy (wherever necessary) e.g.: a. ETL job tuning b. Optimal database scalability c. Project execution leveraging optimal architectural design d. New process due to new tool and technology 7. Work with RTS and Production Support teams in case of production issues 8.
