Be part of a team designing and developing highly scalable, modern enterprise applications. Interface with Business Users to determine key requirements. Develop application business logic. Java Software Development Engineers are required to support an existing web based application with thousands of users, as well as developing enhancements. The Backend database is Oracle and they also run Oracle Application Server as the Web Server. - Complete development from technical design through implementation, unit testing and documentation - Work with QA/Support teams to identify and resolve code issues - Prepare technical design specifications - Participate in the definition and functional specification of product enhancements and new product components - Practice effective multitasking skills and manage workload proactively - Candidates must be super strong in front-end development - JavaScript and Ajax - They must be willing to support the application - This is a mandatory requirement Minimum Job Qualifications: Education/Training/Skills * * BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience * 7+ years developing software with Java (J2EE) in a professional environment * Solid experience with some of the following: JSP, JavaScript, YUI, HTML/CSS, AJAX, Spring, JPA, OAS * Knowledge of development tools, methods, and lifecycle: IDE, source control, defect tracking * Strong analysis and problem solving abilities Specialized Knowledge/Skills: * Knowledge of electronic medical records is a plus Working Conditions - Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.): * Traditional office environment. Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.): * Large percent of time performing computer based work is required.
