*CONTRACT: ETL\Oracle BI Consultant
Location – Mountain View, CA
Duration – 6 months *
*Job Description:*
- Minimum of *6+ years of OBIEE & Informatica experience*
- Experience with *Oracle’s BI Applications for EBS and Peoplesoft (i.e.
Financial Analytics, HR Analytics, etc.)*
- Strong knowledge in *Data Warehousing theory and techniques*
- Experience on *Metadata and report development*
- Proven working knowledge of star schemas and data warehousing concepts
- Very good knowledge on *ETL techniques*, including the development of
staging areas, recoveries, data cleansing, fact and dimension tables, slowly
changing dimensions, conformations, and the use of surrogate vs. natural
keys.
- Experience with *advanced SQL*
- Designs and writes the scripts required to extract, transform, load
(ETL), clean, and move data and metadata so it can be loaded into a data
warehouse, data mart, or data store.
- Develop *ETL routines to load Data Warehouse*, design and write scripts
to extract, transform *load (ETL) clean,* *and move data and meta data.*
- Experience with other *Business Intelligence products such as Cognos,
Business Objects, Microstrategy or Hyperion* will be seriously considered
as we are very confident that our training program will convert these skills
to *Oracle Business Intelligence*
- Maps source system *data to data warehouse models.*
- Should be capable of coordinating and driving the technical team to
achieve *RICE components.*
- Should be capable of providing solutions for customer requirements
- Ability to perform regression, sanity testing etc., as required by the
client
- Functional Support and issue troubleshooting.
- Good understanding and experience in *full implementation of lifecycle*
- Experience with process methodologies like AIM
- Excellent communication, Good Interpersonal, analytical & Judgment
skills
- Team player with positive attitude.
