*Job Description for Seibel EAI Sr Developer ***
Performs application fit gap analysis of the requirements and estimates the
Level of Effort to design and build the interface components of the Siebel
application
· Creates Proof of Concepts quickly to demonstrate technology
feasibilities.
· Captures and documents the IRS and detailed technical design for
all the interface touch points. Documents include technical approach
documents, business rules and technical design documents
· Provides Siebel expertise to the Joint Application design
sessions.
· Leads the Siebel Development Activities primarily around building
the Siebel Interfaces
· Acts as a liaison between Siebel technical team and the
middleware integration team
· Maintains the build/release notes and ensures the integrity of
code releases by working closely with the release engineers
· Works very closely with the functional analysts to provide Siebel
integration expertise during functional design and functional testing
phases.

*Skills required*
· Previous Experience with Siebel EAI - Integration Workflows, Web
Services, Integration Objects, Siebel Adapters, EAI Transport Adapters, VBC,
EBC, Data Maps, SOAP, XSL, CTI
· Experience on Interfaces related to Siebel entities like
Products, Customers, Assets, Orders.
· Thorough understanding of Service Orientated Architecture
principles and the ability to apply them to create reusable interfaces
· Ability to read, understand and create WSDLs
· Advanced Siebel Tools configuration in the areas of
creating/modifying Business Components, Integration Objects and Integration
Components
· Advanced scripting, including creating new business services,
invoking Business Service methods, and thorough knowledge of the Siebel
Object Interfaces
· Advanced knowledge of Oracle and SQL and the ability to query
base Siebel tables to view data (including joins of multiple tables)
· Broad knowledge of Siebel Data Model
· Databases/Utilities: Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, SQL*Plus, SQL Loader,
TOAD (or equivalent)
· Languages: SQL & XML & eScript (required), HTML, JavaScript,
PL/SQL
· Desktop Tools: Microsoft Office including Visio, Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, Access
· Operating Systems: Windows 2000/NT, XP, Unix shell scripting
· Proven record of lead small and medium technical teams
· Ability to analyze and understand complex business processes to
identify areas for improvement
· Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability
to effectively express complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
· Strong presentation skills
· Demonstrated ability to perform in a collaborative team
environment
