Main technical skills they will be looking for are CSS, HTML, Javascript, and OO Programming. Experience with Java/J2EE are also required. * * *Manager Notes: We are looking for a front-end developer/designer (not a back-end developer). This individual must have strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and client interfacing. * *Expected duration of contract is 12 months.* GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity. Has excellent understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software technical documentation. Demonstrates software. Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions. Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology; May create optimization programs to resolve problems; May design and build prototype applications. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of related experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a web developer whose expertise is with front-end technologies, but who would also be comfortable working with Java, J2EE, and MVC frameworks (Struts 1, Spring, Stripes). As a member of the development team, you'll collaborate with product designers to create astandards-compliant user experience. You'll be part of a cross-functional project team that follows Agile methodologies and works across geographic boundaries.
