Location :* *AUSTIN TX Duration: 9Months Skills: Firmware Development Engineer responsible for Review, Integration, Unit Test and Debug of Enterprise Server Firmware. Understanding of industry specifications, embedded systems development, Intel and AMD architectures, and the software development lifecycle. Solid understanding of one or more of the following industry specifications: I2C, IPMI, KCS, USB, SNMP, SM-CLP, WS-MAN, TCPIP. Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of the software development and test process. *Solid C development skills including the use of debug tools.* Experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS, embedded Linux). Experience with PowerPC or other embedded processors desired. Experience Debugging and Testing Embedded Firmware desired. Experience developing & testing in a server environment e.g. HP, IBM is required, preferably with systems management tools. Must be able to write test scripts.
