MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Developer
6-12 months
We have an immediate need for a MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Report
Developer. The ideal candidate will have a healthcare/insurance
background and 5-10 years of MicroStrategy object and report development
experience. The project requires weekly travel to large healthcare payer
site in Kansas City, MO.
This consultant will be responsible for the following:
. Business requirements gathering, identification and documentation
. Guidance on logical and physical database design; data modeling
and/or mapping
. Development of schema/metadata layer (Facts, Attributes, Metrics &
Filters)
. Development/Deployment of dashboards, visualization and reports
(web and mobile)
Experience and Skills:
* MicroStrategy 8.x or greater experience required, 9.x a plus
* Expertise in Project Design and Report Development, including schema
object optimization
* Familiarity with functions, dimensionality and transformations
* Ability to collaborate with Data and ETL architects on overall design
and solution approach
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, troubleshooting
Microstrategy
* Strong User interface design skills and visualization required
* Excellent development and testing skills (including test planning and
execution)
* Work well under pressure and able to meet and exceed project deadlines
* Strong communication/collaboration skills, ability to work with
business/technical staff of all levels
* Experience working in RAD or Agile development environment
* Strong SQL skills required, Teradata experience a plus
* MicroStrategy Mobile (iPad) and SDK development a plus
* MicroStrategy Certified Developer (MCD), preferred All travel expenses
will be covered. The engagement is about 4-5 months in duration with
potential for long term employment.
Prior Healthcare/Insurance experience is preferrd
