Duration: 6 months+
Minimum years experience in the following areas:
Must have hands on experience with Windows Mobile, C# .Net and .NET
Compact Framework environments, Database background (SQL, Oracle and/
or DB2). Experience with barcoding technologies is desired.
Work related skills:
• Position requirements span: designing, creating,
implementing, and supporting IT Systems that support pickup and
delivery field operations and dock automation
• Able to work in a dynamic environment developing new
applications and modifying existing applications to support a variety
of new and existing business initiatives
• Good problem solving ability, excellent communications
skills, both oral and written, a desire to learn new technologies, big
picture visualization, and a proven ability to work in a team oriented
environment
• Proficient using languages such as C# .Net, ISS, C/C++ and
Embedded Visual C++. Knowledge of Java, RPG and OS/400 is a plus.
Utilize SOA and Enterprise design patterns to solve architectural
implementation issues. This position is in support of a mission
critical, highly available; fault tolerant processes and applicant
must work well under pressure
• Understanding software development methodologies is a plus,
as well as background or experience with barcoding technologies
• Under limited supervision, analyze and develop system
requirements, program specifications and code/unit test to meet
business requirements/specifications for large projects
• Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels
of testing and support test execution, including system level and
integration tests
• Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity.
