*Mandatory Skills: *
• 5+ years of business analysis and application development life cycle
experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Digital Command Language (DCL) as well as
experience in RMS file structures and tuning
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills often entailing diagnosing
and resolving complex or unusual situations.
• Ability to translate business requirements to technical documents.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and can take the lead on
assignments given.
• Communicates effectively both written and verbally.
• Works with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrates strong attention to quality and detail.
• Demonstrated history of making and meeting commitments.
• Is self-motivated and maintains a strong work ethic.
*Secondary Skills: *
• 5+ years working with DEC or HP Open *VMS* Operating Systems
• 5+ years working with Open *VMS* Code Management Systems
• Familiarity with VAX / ”C”
*Duties: *
The responsibility of this position is to work in a developer capacity on
assigned projects. Duties include the following:
• Works with the Business to understand project, enhancement, or support
requirements. Translates requirements into viable “Best Practices”
solutions.
• Follows the SDLC life cycle on both application and *VMS* - related
system changes. Documents functional requirements and detail design.
• Assists development team in testing and validation of application
changes. Documents results and obtain appropriate business approvals.
