Need *Java Developer*
Location: *Fairfield, CT*
Duration: 3 Months
Skills:
At least 5 years’ experience working as a senior software engineer.
Strong knowledge of SNMP.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
Strong experience with shell scripts and XML technologies.
Knowledge of Network Management Systems and Element Management
Systems.
Excellent communication skills (including presentation, verbal, and
writing).
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter/highly motivated and require
minimal supervision.
Proficiency with JEE containers (JBoss and Tomcat) on Linux
platforms
*Desired**:*
Working knowledge of SNMP4j, Java Management API and Net SNMP
Knowledge of syslogs, Linux configuration, and security.
Experience on building secured network management systems based on
SNMP architecture.
A good understanding of secure software development practices.
Experience in IP and networking protocols and architectures.
