Job Description: -
1. Help design and configure some of the infrastructure needed to
support multiple agencies in one instance of HP Service Manager. This
includes:
· Keeping some tickets private to an agency,
while sharing some tickets with other agencies that may have a vested
interest in the tickets.
· Supporting a similar scheme for sharing
CI’s in Service Manager.
· Setting up a shared administration model
for common tables, such as Locations, Operators, Assignment Groups,
etc.
· Routing of tickets between agencies, as
well as from Employee Self Service (ESS). When multiple agency service
desks need to be routed to based on end user submitting the ticket.
2. Enhancing the functionality and flexibility of Alerts and
Notifications for HP Service Manager 9.x tickets. This might include:
· Allowing different agencies to have
different rules for alerts on tickets.
· Supporting alerts that are not out of
box.
· Consolidating individual alerts.
3. Advising and mentoring on the development of some internal bug and
enhancement requests for HP Service Manager 9.x. Examples include:
· Improving the support of linking multiple
CI’s to a ticket, such as uploading CI lists into a ticket from a
spreadsheet or using CI Groups.
· Adding functionality for viewing and
modifying Contact information while in a ticket
· Tailoring and fixing bugs in Employee
Self Service.
4. Review how HP Service Manager 9.x has been implemented and
recommend changes as needed. This could include:
· Server infrastructure & redundancy
· How the tool has been tailored to ensure
the best solutions are being used.
5. Client has several staff with significant experience with HP
Service Center and HP Service Manager, and much of the actual
implementation work will be completed by State staff. The candidate
must be an advanced expert in designing, configuring and implementing
HP Service Manager 9.x with significant experience tailoring and
developing in HP Service Manager 7.x or 9.x. Candidate must be strong
in all aspects of HP Service Manager. Experience in HP UCMDB, HP Asset
Manager and SQL is also desired but not required.
