Expertise Needed: Five (5) plus years experience in Oracle database administration (RDBMS 10g and 11g). Experience with backups and restores of complex, large database systems using hot and cold backup philosophies. Three (3) plus years experience with Oracle Applications 11i with particular emphasis placed on Human Resources and Financials. Any public sector Oracle Applications experience is desirable. Proven experience with patching, configuration and troubleshooting applications is required. Four (4) years experience in UNIX (AIX 6.1 preferred) as well as proven expertise with SQL, PLSQL, SQL*Net, Performance Tuning, Oracle Applications Servers, Web servers and Oracle Enterprise Manager or like product.
