Job Title: Back end developer(java)
Location: Midtown, NY
(Need local candidates only)
Duration: 12 months
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or
related field.
•3-5 years professional experience in IT or business
•Fluent in multiple development languages (such as Java, Perl, Python,
Ruby, PHP)
•Diverse experience utilizing the Java programming language in
developing complex algorithms and manipulating data
structure in Web and client-server environments
•Experience working with multiple Java tools and frameworks including
Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), JavaServer
Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, Struts, Spring, and Java Database
Connectivity (JDBC)
•Working knowledge of Web technology including HTTP, Networking,
Operating Systems, Database Engines and middleware solutions
•Expertise in Object Oriented design and analysis, classic design
patterns, and JEE patterns
•Strong analysis and estimation skills
•Experience with concurrent programming
•Experience converting business requirements to technical solutions
•Excellent problem solving, time management, teamwork, and
communication skills
•Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and
understand how IT needs to support them
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Experience working with build, testing, and integration tools (e.g.
JUNIT, Ant, Maven, Hudson)
•Experience working collaboratively with front end engineers
•Experience working with source control (SVN, Github, Mercurial)
