Requirements:
BDA ROLE
• Expert understanding of Facets data, in particular the claims data
created by the claims adjudication module and premium billing and
associated payment data
• Expert understanding of both professional service and facility
claims and how the data is represented in Facets
• Expert understanding of the Facets claim adjustment process and how
the claims are tied together
• Expert understanding of how payment data is tied to claim in Facets
and when in the cycle it happens
• Understands the $ amounts of claims and how they are calculated
including the relationships between claim header and detail amounts
• Work with business end-users to determine their reporting
requirements
• Interview the business community to identify user requirements
• Document business requirements and assist in clarifying
discrepancies in requirements
• Review and approve data models and business metadata definitions
• Develop business rules for the transformation of data
• Work on identifying the source system of record down to the file,
record and field level
• Consult with the Data Modeler and DBA on the development of the
database schema design
• Perform data profiling analyses and analyze data definitions
• Develop common record formats, source to target maps and document
business transformation rules
• Create test cases and test data sets
• Data profiling experience using SSIS or native SQL.
• Strong SQL scripting skills
• Define source and target data attributes mappings
• Provide domain area expertise during design, development and testing
of the solution
• Supports execution of the system, integration, load, and UAT test
cycles
• Supports triage of defects found during test cycles
