Job Requirements:
Create and execute test cases based on use cases/requirements,
design documents and mapping documents and document test results
Defect tracking using Mercury Quality Center
Participate in defect triage meetings and retest defects
Work closely with the other members of the Development Team to
review the designs of programs
Setup and run mainframe jobs when needed in test environments
Able to maintain test environments
Qualifications:
Hands on mainframe testing experience with strong software testing
concepts
Hands on experience in using Quality Center
Testing knowledge and testing experience of CICS, COBOL, DB2, SDSF,
JCL IEBCOPY, IMS, TSO, FTP, Fileaid, MQ and XML
Experience in writing test cases, creating but reports, executing
and tracking of test assignments
Experience in data validation and cross-system testing
Experience in mainframe and client server testing
Write / Execute DB@ queries using SFUFI or Platinum
Experience creating select SQL statements to validate data
Experience in testing in batch and interactive mainframe environments
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle
Insurance domain experience is a plus
Knowledge of Siebel is a plus
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 to 5 years of testing
experience of mainframe applications (Manual/Automated).
