*1) **BSA/Java Engineer: 1 year contract *
Our client has an opening for a BSA/AE/PM jack of all trades kind of a
person. You would need to have very strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
You would spend about 50% on working with end users - training, support,
requirements gathering, prioritization, etc. About 30% writing code (Java,
Javascript, JQuery, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, Maven). About 10% on
monitoring/maintaining data integrity in Oracle DB and another 10% on
maintaining the spec and training materials.

Our client's team needs a strong Lead Java Application Engineer.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Java Application Engineer you will bring a broad experience of
successfully delivering value that enables our client to increase
productivity, realize efficiencies and build profitable customer
experiences. Interest and experience in the latest methodologies goes a
long way here and we're looking for people who are passionate about the
world of value-driven solution delivery. You'll get to work alongside truly
talented teams and help them enhance their performance by promoting
collaboration and innovation across the department. You'll be integral in
designing next generation consumer platform which will power future
personalized consumer experiences across all touch-points.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other
relevant subject area
6+ years of professional experience in IT or a web/e-commerce business
Experience working as a Lead on multiple projects, in both large (1-year+
projects) and small projects ( >3 months), preferably in an Integration
space
Diverse and deep experience utilizing Java tools in business, Web, and
client-server environments including Java Platform, Enterprise Edition
(J2EE), Enterprise Java Bean (EJB), JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Servlets
(including JNDI), Struts, JFC/Swing, AJAX and Java database Connectivity
(JDBC) technologies.
Innovative experience in delivering mobile applications using Java Micro
Edition (JME), Java FX Mobile or comparable.
Fluent understanding of multiple development languages including
JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML, and ability to write clean, eloquent,
minimal code in a load-balanced environment to achieve value added business
outcomes.
Deep expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design, UML modeling,
Classic design patterns and J2EE patterns.
Technically capable with maximizing build quality and simplifying the build
process through use of build and integration tools (e.g. JUNIT, Ant, Maven,
etc.).
Experience in integrating through Oracle Fusion, IBM Websphere or
comparable EAI environments.
Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Waterfall or
Lean/Agile delivery environment. Strong preference for multiple years of
SCRUM/XP development expertise.
Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers
and business SMEs to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the
achievement of business outcomes.
Passion and successful track of coaching, teaching, mentoring and learning.
Commitment to and hands-on experience in leading/performing technical
quality reviews.
Commitment to collaborate with other developers and subject matter experts
to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability
and performance needs.
Experience estimating work, planning, organization and implementing complex
Java software projects
3 years' experience developing object-oriented, web-based consumer
applications in a Java/J2EE 3-tier environment. Experience with high volume
direct consumer applications a plus.
Strong Rational Unified Process (RUP) or other iterative methodology
knowledge
Familiarity with object modeling patterns and implementation (i.e. UML)
Experience with Eclipse, Junit, Jmeter, XML, SOAP/REST Web Services,
relational databases and SQL is preferred JBOSS and Oracle experience is
highly desired
Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual
communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
