Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables *RESPONSIBILITIES: * Translate BI Reporting Requirements, product, or business requirements into functional/technical specification to source system analysis documents. Assist in the creation of high-level feasibility assessments and IT level-of-efforts. Assist with and research data needed for high level scope analysis and solution design of the reporting processes/systems impacted Perform proactive Data Profiling to ensure source system data needs in the project deliverables. In complicated situations, assist project team to find alternative solutions for the source data. Provide analysis support to development and test teams for assigned projects. This can include responding to ad hoc analysis requests and collaborating with test resources to validate test cases, defect triage and resolution. Initiate and execute initiatives to improve the processes, procedures, and tools utilized by the team. Research production issues and support the Application Support group as needed. Regularly report status to stakeholders and management. Provide accurate estimates of effort and timelines for completion of assigned tasks and drives to meet those commitments. Interact regularly with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, Application Support and Operations Write SQL queries to profile and understand the data and to validate the feasibility of the functional requirements.
