Experience with and understanding of compiled and interpreted programs and the types of security issues possible in each; database systems, web servers, application servers and different types of middleware. Experience with source code reviews for security vulnerabilities (e.g. SANS Top 25 Most Dangerous Software Errors, OWASP top ten). Experience with debuggers, application analysis tools, vulnerability scanners and web application proxies (e.g. Nessus, Nexpose, Metasploit, Appscan, burpsuite, Ida Pro etc.). Excellent verbal communications skills and concise written communication skills. Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience with application development.
