Mid-level Golden Gate experience is a plus. Unix and Linux is a must. Shell scripting along with a working knowledge of infrastructure elements like storage, network & OS as it relates to the database. Knowledge and Experience in fast paced and dynamic environment, Security Controls like SOX, PCI will be an added advantage. Candidate must have strong interpersonal & communication skills and be a team player. Candidate must also coordinate and provide 24x7 on call support as needed. The candidates must have more than 7 yrs of current, hands on experience in Oracle database administration, backup/recovery, upgrades, install, build, database migrations, Dataguard, Goldendate and RAC and must be able to support 50+ instances. Candidates must be expert in using unix-driven, non-GUI based tools for day to day database support. Solid understanding of core Oracle RDBMS concepts is needed in this large and fast moving environment.
