*Title: CPQ Modeler/Configurator*

*Job description*
IBM CPQ Modeler is a specialized role in the area of product
configuration/modeling using IBM’s Visual Modeler application (CPQ).
Candidate is required to work with Sterling OMS/eCommerce implementation
team of trained professionals to meet the client’s business requirements
and satisfaction. This is full time engagement at Atlanta, for 12-24 months.
*Required relevant Experience as follows:*
· Implementing and supporting IBM CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
Product.
· Detailed knowledge of IBM Sterling Configure, Price, Quote
(formerly Comergent CPQ) software
· Experience in Configurator/Visual Modeler for creating models and
product bundling.
· Experience in Configuration of complex products & services.
· Any prior experience in Migrating CPQ, version upgrade is a plus.
*Desired Skills Include:*
· Knowledge of IBM Sterling Order Management, Sterling Commerce
· Knowledge of WebSphere Commerce software with emphasis on Order
Capture and Catalog sub-systems
· Ability to lead and implement the solution technical design and
software configurations, configuration models and rules, product
extensions, interfaces, etc.
· Possess effective verbal and written communications skills during
interactions with customers, partners and IBM team members.
· Consultative approach and communicate and formulate resolutions
to issues and business challenges.
· Leadership skills that attract others to follow and seek advice
· Technical skills including Java development, application server
and database knowledge is a plus
*Preferred Skills:*
· 3-7 years in complex business and technical implementations
· High energy level, can-do attitude and ability to drive projects
through to completion on time/on budget with a high level of customer
satisfaction
· Experience in Telecom domain is a plus
· Project management experience.
*Required skills:*
· At least 2 years’ experience in implementing IBM Sterling
Configure, Price, Quote product or other configuration tools such as
Comergent
· At least 1 year experience in Java, J2EE and object oriented
technologies
