• Develop a Software tool to assist in analyzing E2E *LTE* control
plane KPIs, call trace and cause codes and generate performance reports for
operation purpose.
• Master’s degree in a technical field, MSCS and MSEE is
preferred
• *Coding skills in JAVA (J2EE) and PERL, with GUI development
background*
• Domain knowledge on LTE, call flow, and call trace
• Experience in E2E network management tool development for
service providers
• Knowledge on network monitoring probes is a plus
• Familiarity with network protocols for wireline and wireless,
e.g., GTP, MAC, PHY, NAS, RRC, S1-MME, SIP, RTP, RTCP, RTCP-XR, etc., is a

The primary responsibility of this position is full life-cycle development
of routing & bridging stacks that play a pivotal role in all of Ericsson’s
networking solutions. These stacks will support Packet Core, IMS,
Radio/RAN, IP, MPLS, Optical, Metro, Edge Routing, L2/L3 Switching, etc.
*Qualifications*
*Candidate Profile:*
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of Linux/BSD/Unix Operating Systems and
programming for real time devices
• Working knowledge of OS kernels is not a must, but is desired.
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies: *Layer 2 (STP,
LACP, L2 Snooping technologies), Layer 3 (for IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, ISIS, BGP,
etc.), MPLS/GMPLS*.
• Understanding of Network management technologies and development in
the Element Management areas: CLIs, SNMP/MIBs.
*Bare Minimum Qualifications:*
• Very solid skills with *C/C++*
• Understands interaction between management, data, and control planes.
• Solid experience developing Multi-threaded applications in a high
availability Linux environment
• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
