The position and skillset is around McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and the
various McAfee products our team supports such as VirusScan, Host IPS, and
the overall “EPO” architecture
*POSITION: Email & Instant Messaging Specialist *
*LOCATION: NY or Jacksonville,FL
DURATION: 3+ Months

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
*There are two aspects to this role. *
The first aspect of the role is to support the existing in-house email and
instant messaging services. Specific tasks/responsibilities may include:
• Deployment and configuration of new servers.
• Upgrades and maintenance of existing infrastructure e.g. version
• Resolution of problems affecting the infrastructure e.g. serverside issue
resolution.
• Level 3 support for client-side problems.
• Supporting/administering Microsoft Exchange 2007, OCS, upgrades,
configuration changes, maintenance tasks.
BlackBerry, Vantage and Good for Enterprise messaging
infrastructure.
• 3rd level support for Helpdesk and Desktop support teams.
• 24x7 on-call cover is required one week in every four weeks.
• Team’s shift pattern to cover 7am to 5pm GMT.
The second aspect of the role is to support and facilitate the migration of
the Bank’s email platforms to a new vendor-hosted solution. Specific
tasks/responsibilities may include:
• Performing required due diligence, testing, signing-off on
• Potential involvement in build of servers in regions – Exchange
• Confirming/testing server setup according to vendor design
• Test and setup of related infrastructure, according to agreed solutions
where required, ensuring required connectivity/infrastructure is in place
for in-country DB data centres, handling change controls and facilitating
implementation 2010, Symantec Enterprise Vault on MS Win 2008 teams’ build
documentation design: Blackberry Enterprise Servers, Active Directory,
Quest Migration and Co-existence Tools, Exchange Monitoring, Symantec
Enterprise Vault support, Voltage Encryption setup, Tivoli backup, Good, iOS
• Assistance/support with migration of Symantec Enterprise Vault data from
one vendor-hosted solution to another
*Education / Qualifications*
Ideally A-Level and Degree, or equivalent Microsoft Certification for OCS
R1/R2, Lync 2010, Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010
*Essential Technical Skills*
- Active Directory

- SMTP

Operational experience for a 5,000+ user implementation of
MicrosoftExchange 2007/2010 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007

• Planning and implementing Exchange 2007/2010 infrastructure
• Planning and implementing Symantec Enterprise Vault
• Planning and implementing BlackBerry and Good for Exchange
• Working with software/hardware/services suppliers infrastructure

Strong team player, but can also work independently and is self-motivated
Attention to detail
- Is able to work and communicate effectively with technical and
non-technical teams
- As well as understanding the technology, displays the skills required
to deliver a quality service to end users / clients
