- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols, physical and logical

- Experience configuring, and troubleshooting MPLS links
- Must be able to design a project and implement with proper build
documentation after the fact
- Expertise in documenting logical and physical network design
- Experience utilizing network management hardware/software. (i.e.,
protocol analysis)
- Working knowledge of the OSI model and Internet and Intranet protocols.
- Knowledge of current security tools available Firewalls (CheckPoint,
Cisco ASA & Linux) IDS, DLP, VPN.
- Strong knowledge of F5 Load balancers LTM and Cisco Network Switches,
Routers, Wireless APs
- Cisco IOS and NX-OS environment, router and switch hardware and common
networking protocols/technologies Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, VOIP etc.
- Internet and IP with an understanding of SMTP, SNMP, Active Directory.
- Experience Designing and/or supporting client VPN, DNS DHCP, Proxy
servers, IDS/IPS
- Very good verbal and writing communications skills
*Desired Qualifications:*
- Cisco CCNP must
- Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE) a plus
- Business security practices and procedures
- A technical professional that works well in a team environment

· 7+ years of experience in consulting, design, implementation
and migration and transformation projects
· Excellent hands-on experience in Data Networking technologies
and products. Must be hands-on currently.
· Experience working in large and multiple data center projects
· Experience working with Pre-Sales teams on RFPs, RFQs etc.
· Experience working with Service Providers, TELCO etc.
*Technical skills:*
· Excellent hands-on experience on the following technologies:
o Routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
o LAN Switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS

· Excellent hands-on experience on the following products:
o Cisco Catalyst 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches
o Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/2K Series of switches
o Cisco Routers 2800, 2900, 3800, 3900, 7600 Series
o Cisco IOS Software, Cisco NXOS
o Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco or Aruba
o WAN Acceleration/optimization – Riverbed or Cisco WAAS
o Application Load balancers – F5 BigIP LTM/GTM or Cisco ACE/GSS
o Network Management – HPOV, NNM, SolarWinds, ORION etc.
