- Knowledge in TCP/IP & Layered communication, TCP/IP fundamentals and
commonly used network protocols troubleshooting and network security.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic network and DNS problems
using simple commands (ping, trace, nslookup) is required. Understanding of
network packet captures (using Netmon or Wireshark) and HTTP traces
(Fiddler, etc) is expected.
- In-depth knowledge of modern Internet architectures and associated
routing, switching, (Spanning-tree Technologies,VLANs,Etherchanles
etc.).
- In-Depth knowledge about Routing protocols
- Depth Knowledge about VPN Technologies.
- Deep knowledge about multi-vendor Security devices Ex cisco, juniffer
Blue-coat proxies.
- Hardware knowledge about CISCO ASA, FWSM, juniper
NetscreenFirewalls.Multi-vendor networking hardware experience,.
- Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to
design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely
and on-site.
- Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as
firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Depth knowledge about ACLs implementation.
- Depth knowledge about IPS/IDS configuration and implementation.
- Knowledgeabount network sniffers.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation.
