Hi, Position: Business Analyst With Healthcare Exp Location : Cambridge, MA. Duration: Long term. *IT Business Analyst - Marketing* Description: This person will support the Marketing BIM in the execution of marketing IT projects and requests by performing business analysis tasks. They will perform requirements gathering activities as well as requirements documentation. They will interact with the development teams to address questions and ensure requirements are being met. The BA will also perform testing activities. This position has a broad range of responsibilities including: Project management and solution delivery • Ensure solution delivery meets business need and expectation through business requirement gathering • Gather and validate business needs to translate into requirements for technical team • Work with technical teams to develop technical requirements and solutions • Is accountable for projects throughout entire lifecycle; depending on scale and complexity may need input or guidance on critical decisions Support and business continuity • Be proactive in identifying solutions or opportunities that can help improve business processes • Be point of contact for business focused application questions and be able to identify and leverage resources across IT Skills Desired: Business Skills The candidate must: • Have 5-7 years prior experience working as a business analyst or related field with consumer marketing groups. • Have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills • Have project management skills • Be process oriented (i.e. change control, requirement gathering, process flow diagramming, testing, etc). • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Be highly organized and work well under pressure. • Be capable of multitasking and managing time effectively. • Be able to work independently Technical Skills The candidate must: • Have a working knowledge of software development lifecycle and documentation • Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans • Have previous experience with the following productivity tools: MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.
