*Job Title : SharePoint Developer/ Lead Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Months Contract Overview:* Our client is looking for SharePoint Server 2010/2013 developer who has previous experience designing & architecting experience. Must be able to Utilize in-depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint 2010, including SharePoint templates (site and list templates), web parts, social media capabilities like blogs, discussion threads, workflows and content management in configuring sites and sub-sites within the intranet. Consultant will also be responsible for enforcing governance standards (policies and procedures) when implementing sites, sub-sites, and other features within the intranet framework. *Requirements: * Must have 2+yrs SharePoint Server 2010/2013 design and architecture using C# and SharePoint experience including formal full life-cycle using one of the following or more products: Very strong understanding of MOSS concepts SharePoint Development and Workflow tools Enterprise SharePoint Evaluating and creating SharePoint Foundation Experience developing and maintaining a SharePoint environment Experience on SharePoint upgrades and migrations from SharePoint Server 2010 to SharePoint 2013 Consultant must have 5-7 years’ experience in creation of SharePoint Web Parts in C# development experience. Proficient in the creation and use of Web Services. SharePoint object model to programmatically manipulate SharePoint list items. Strong XML/XSL development experience. Working knowledge and experience with SQL Server, as well as the ability to create and run database queries. Must have proven experience implementing portal technologies (partner, employee, and/or customer portals) and web enabled applications for mid to large size organizations. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
