*Junior SQL DBA* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: One Year* * * *Phone screen and then F2F. * * * *manager wants semi local. Des Moines, Milwaukee, Chicago or from Minneapolis.* *Job Requirements* Provide installation, configuration, maintenance and support of SQL Server DBMS software. Provide database support and expertise required to ensure successful operation of SQL Server application systems. This includes but is not limited to; Assistance, monitoring and performance tuning, disaster recovery support, space management, patching, incident/problem management, consulting and change request coordination on Microsoft SQL Server existing on the Windows environment. Will use appropriate languages and tools to provide immediate problem resolution and, if necessary, problem escalation. Individual will be required to perform assigned tasks forwarded by application database teams. This individual will not be responsible for IT Infrastructure, or application development/design. Will be required to be part of the on-call rotation. • Migrations of data conversion and transformation (SSIS and replication) • database installation, maintenance, and upgrade • SQL (DDL and DML) coding and testing, SQL proficiency (DDL and DML) • knowledge of application-to-database connectivity • knowledge of database security • knowledge of DBMS bulk load/unload and other utilities • knowledge of appropriate OS command and scripting languages Thanks & regards Ashok Kumar | IDC Technologies, Inc.
