Please review the below Job Description and let me know if you are comfortable * * *Senior Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)* *Location: NYC (Looking for local candidates only)* *Duration: 6+ months* * * *Phone and then in person interviews* * * Manager is looking for a Senior Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) developer to join the Deals Business Intelligence (BI) team. Individual will define and develop critical ETL processes, design and build OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, apply data mining algorithms, while writing SQL and MDX queries to support reporting solutions across the BI stack. Individual will have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft SSIS, SSAS and must be proficient in relational and multi-dimensional schema development and analysis. *Description:* Seeking a Senior Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) developer to join our Deals Business Intelligence (BI) team. Additionally, prospects should have an in depth experience working with the entire BI stack, including the nuances of Excel PivotTable generated MDX request-response streams. As a member of our team, the individual will participate in all BI activities related to data warehouse development; design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs for Data mart / Data Warehousing efforts. He/She will plan and monitor system development efforts, collaborate with other groups, review deliverables, and relaying statuses to management. Responsibilities range from cube design/development to aggregating data from multiple sources in an efficient data warehouse to designing enterprise-level solutions for very large multidimensional databases. The individual must be able to translate complex business requirements to the appropriate technical solutions.
