Seeking a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills to assist with troubleshooting issues related to a SAS migration project from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.3. Primary responsibilities will include working on problem tickets from end-users who are migrating from a single-server AIX environment to a new SAS Grid environment run on Red Hat Enterprise LINUX 6. Individual will be expected to solve simple to complex issues, with escalation of highly complex issues to senior staff. Qualifications: 5+ years SAS administration background. Experience working with Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner, and Enterprise Business Intelligence. Experience in security and workspace administration using SAS Management Console. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self motivated, independent worker with good organization, analytical and problem solving skills. Preferred Skills: 5+ years working with UNIX/LINUX. 3+ years working with job schedulers; CRON, AutoSys or LSF. Experience with SAS migration efforts from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2 or 9.3.
