Java Developer

Duration: 5+ Months
Responsibilities:
AT LEAST 3-5 YRS of STRONG JAVA EXPERIENCE***
Java development expertise for client products, a critical group within the
organization.
The individual will be responsible for implementing core modules of the
client server along with scripting automated testing tools.
Ideal candidate will possess minimum of 8 -10 years industry experience
with recent hands-on experience in systems level and server side
programming. 5 yrs of recent Java development
3 yrs exp with a Java enterprise framework OR 3 yrs exp in a Java-based
web development framework
3 yrs exp with database programming.
As a key member of the delivery team, candidate must demonstrate
exceptional problem solving, technical expertise and operate in an agile
environment with fluctuating priorities.
This position provides an incredible opportunity to play a significant part
in the advancement of the client’s solution across the globe.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVES):
Advanced Core Java APIs
Test Automation – tools and scripts for automating manual tests.
Data-driven automated testing .
Multi-threading, concurrency, synchronization (nice to have)
Scalability and performance optimization – attention to java data
structures, algorithms with space/time trade-offs.(nice to have)
Maven/Jenkins Experience - asset
Web Services – SOAP, REST
Hibernate/JPA/ORM
Server Side DB experience
Scripting – Perl preferred
Design Patterns
