*Location : San Antonio ,TX*

Data Architect Information Quality & MDM Responsibilities: **
The candidate must be capable of understanding data strategy on an
enterprise level, implement the data architecture on a project level, and
have the excellent communication skills necessary to successfully interact
with, solution architects, product owners, Project managers, developers,
business analysts and testers. Specific responsibilities will include:
· Create a consolidated product information conceptual and logical
model from a set of 10-12 home grown product systems.
· Prepares design, specifications, estimated costs and construction
time of the data requirements.
· Investigate source systems to locate and understand existing data
domains areas and integration points.
· Develop integration designs consistent with Information
Management principles collaborating with key IT stakeholders to ensure that
solutions meet project requirements and fit within the broader enterprise
architecture context.
· Provide thought leadership in data management strategies,
governance and design. Integrating internal and external product components
into a cohesive design
· Prepares design, specifications, estimated costs and construction
time of the data requirements.
· Adhere to data architecture standards and strategies for
designing solutions.
Required Skills: **
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
Computer Information Systems.
· 5+ years as a Data Architect or Data Modeler within IT project
environments.
· Experience of integration of process and data across the entire
pipeline applied to many data domains.
· Experience describing abstract concepts, designs and
relationships within a data domain as it applies to many applications and
products.
· Develop domain specific, e.g. Master Data or Advanced Analytics,
architecture pattern as required.
· Responsible for architectural governance of multiple data
management development efforts.
· Experience in using tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, or
Qdesigner.
· Master Data Management experience.

Desired Skills:**
· Able to communicate clearly with peers as well as management and
provide technical leadership to more junior team members.
· Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and
priorities
· The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather
team consensus to move forward
· Understanding of database design techniques for OLTP, data
warehouse, and data mart design.
· Experience in data modeling and data architecture principles.
· Experience in RDBMS technologies – Oracle and SQL Server.
· Understanding/experience in working within an iterative
development environment.
