*Job Title : SharePoint Developer Location : Dallas,TX Duration : 6+ month contract * *Description and Required Skills:* Working closely with customers and CPM Ops Management to understand and manage project delivery expectations Architecting and leading Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for CPM Ops Creating functional design specifications, implementation plans and test scripts/plans Producing other project artifacts such as requirements documents, governance plans, and organization readiness plans for engagements Provide architecture review, and project milestone sessions for project sponsors Provide SharePoint mentoring for project team members Evaluating existing portal implementations and developing recommendations for problem resolution, enhancement, and tuning and presenting recommendations to client’s management, administrative and/or technical staff Provide feedback on site structure (already complete) and support training and job aid development including release notes Key Requirements Credible and professional presence; excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries The desire to play a technical leadership role 5-7 years full lifecycle SharePoint analysis, design, implementation, upgrade, migration, administration and deployment experience including creating custom web parts in SharePoint 2007/2013; Experience in the analysis, design, implementation, administration, and support of Intranets, Extranets, and portals; Experience in the integration of SharePoint using web parts with third party data sources including document management systems Strong analysis skills; the ability to make critical business recommendations and think strategically Experience consulting with clients on the design and business value of portal solutions Strong understanding of collaboration processes and challenges Experience working with a customer's internal business processes and developing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint throughout the Organization Knowledge of SharePoint API and Object Model; ability to develop using managed code and PowerShell scripting SharePoint Development with Visual Studio including but not limited to: Visual Web Parts, Custom Workflows Custom Business Connectivity Models Event Receivers Custom Ribbon Bar, Customize Navigation, Dialog Framework Development Content Type List and Site Definitions Ability to develop and extend the SharePoint platform (Sites, Communities, Content, Search, Insights and Composite Applications) Good understanding of the SharePoint security and compliance model Define, document and implement best practices for the SharePoint practice group Additional Requirements Previous consulting industry, business analysis and sales support experience Bachelor’s degree in related discipline 4 years Programming experience using .NET, Visual Basic, SQL Servers and C# Technical, planning and design experience with: SharePoint Globalization and Localization SharePoint Designer SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services Information architecture Physical topologies and services architecture Integration to line of business and 3rd party systems; client application services deployment Agile delivery methods; strong development background with the .NET framework Microsoft Office 365 experience *Mirza Muneeb* IT Technical Recruiter Seven Hills Software Technologies Inc.
