Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 2+ Months

*Essential Job Functions:*
Responsible for development and maintenance of all websites.
Participate in and contribute to the planning process for new projects and
give input on specific technologies utilized to complete projects
Responsible for working with outside agencies to provide technical
recommendations and participate in design and implementation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment and flexible
enough to accommodate demanding project schedules

Education and Training:*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
4-5 years web programming /development experience.
*Skills and Abilities:*
Understanding of object-oriented programming languages
Expert knowledge of PHP/MySQL required
Must be familiar with web services such as XML RPC
Intermediate to expert knowledge of HTML, HTML standards and CSS (Must be
able to do this from a text editor not a WYSIWYG editor. Cross browser
compatibility.)
Intermediate to expert knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript APIs (eg
AJAX, jQuery, Prototype)
Must be familiar with relational-databases, integration, database caching,
database optimization and MySQL queries as well as object-oriented databases
Must be comfortable running commands in a UNIX environment as well as
version control SVN
Experience creating and/or maintaining Open Source content management
systems, preferably WordPress or simila
