Please review the below Job Description and let me know if you are comfortable * * *SQL Server DBA with SSRS and Replication* *Location: Germantown, MD. * *Duration: 6 months + contracting position * * * *The person must be a US Citizen, and face to face interviews are required after phone interview * The manager has been ruling out people because they do not have strong enough SSRS and replication experience. They want the person to be hands-on and doing the work on a day to day basis. - Good working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 enterprise edition - Experience in setting up SQL Server on Microsoft Cluster - SQL Server Integration Services including package design, deployment and maintenance - SSRS deployment and setup - SQL Server Replication; Disaster Recovery planning and support experience - Troubleshooting replication issues - Database optimization, consolidation, tables partitioning, Microsoft SQL Server management, and SQL query performance tuning - T-SQL coding, stored procedures, backup/recovery, load balancing and high availability systems - Support parallel projects in a fast paced and collaborative team environment using full SDLC - Index performance tuning, RAID array tuning, backups, stored procedures, views, triggers, OLAP cubes - Windows batch scripting and scheduling - Good verbal and written communication skills - Need to be able to operate independently and as a member of a team - Willing and required to support off-hours and on-call attendance - Resolve security issues, performance issues, stability issues * *** Thanks & regards Ashok Kumar | IDC Technologies, Inc.
