*Job Title: Websphere Administrator Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Duration: 6+ Months Job Description:* AIX Unix Administration duties (including hardware support) across 20 AIX LPARs -- includes design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching both AIX and microcode, and documentation WebSphere Application support across 20 AIX LPARs -- includes design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching both AIX and microcode, and documentation MQ support across 20 AIX LPARs -- includes design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching both AIX and microcode, and documentation MQ File Transfer knowledge Automated Code Deployment in dev, sys, uat and production Detailed script writing using perl, jython and shell scripting Some Java development to create small programs to test patches, etc. Assist Java developers in troubleshooting their environments *Requirements:* Strong verbal and written communications skills Organized with a strong attention to detail Able to work independently with very little direction, for example: research solution, open trouble ticket with vendors and follow through to a technical resolution. Some experience with complex integration within a large system environment Strong analytical skills Strong Microsoft Office skills Websphere Administration Certification preferred Extensive experience with IBM Websphere Application Server and Message Queue (MQ). Extensive experience with IBM Websphere installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting in Multi cell HA environment. Experience in shell scripting for Websphere Application Deployments.
