Title : Websphere Engineer
Location : Lincolnshire, IL
Duration : 12 + Months
* Requirement*Under general direction, formulates and defines
specifications for complex systems, which may include engineering,
implementation and integration, and technical services and support.
· Designs, implements or installs, maintains and administers
infrastructures including complex hardware, software and configurations.
· Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and
tunes, accordingly.
· Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements
corrective measures.
· Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
· May have sole responsibility for projects.
· May provide guidance and oversight to more junior engineers.
· Knowledgeable of one or more technologies, products or applications.
· Provide 3L engineering design and support Web infrastructure for
Websphere Administration server. Support WAS v6.1 and v8.5 Will build and
configure new environments as needed.
· Provide support for http servers – IHS and Apache.
· Supports upgrade to WAS v8.5
· Engineering and administration expertise with WAS, Apache.
· Engineering and administration expertise with BPM, ODM, BAM and CPLEX is
highly desirable.
