*QC Engineer** with EDI X12 transaction sets such as 837, 835, 270* *Need only locals, red skills are must required.* *Location: *Concord, CA *Duration*: 6 Months Plus Rate : 50 Job Summary: To be successful in this position you will need at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar QC role. You should be familiar with standard development processes, have a working knowledge of Windows 7 and Linux, basic knowledge of databases and automated test frameworks such as Selenium. Knowledge of EDI X12 transaction sets such as 837, 835, 270 etc will be very valuable. • Work as part of a scrum team to deliver high quality products and features to clients. • Acquire a good understanding of the EDI transaction model and X12 data formats. • Learn how to build and execute complex functional and integration tests of our products using our proprietary testing framework. Interpret and analyze regression results, creating defect reports if necessary. • Develop a deep understanding of our complex features such as payer side clients, print & mail and user-facing portal. • Acquire a good understanding of our schema and data model, and how the data is transformed from one state to another, so you can test and analyze data transformations. This is a unique opportunity to make a large contribution to the success of the product and the company by ensuring that the products we deliver are rock solid. In the process, you will acquire a deep knowledge of the product and the healthcare transaction processing domain and EDI, and become an invaluable member of the engineering team going forward. This position involves creating and maintaining complex testing interfaces to assure that new product releases perform as specified.
