*Sr. Systems Engineer Windows*
Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with Windows 200x standard
and enterprise experience for opportunity with a client of ours in Atlanta,
GA.
*DESCRIPTION: *Senior Windows Systems Engineer with experience working in
datacenters and hosting facilities. VMware experience with 3.5, 4.0 and 5x
is required.
Qualifications (background, education, experience, and other requirements):
Minimum of 5 years' Windows experience supporting large commercial clients
in a client-facing role.
Strong knowledge of Systems Administration in Windows Server 200x, Active
Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, NFS, iSCSI is preferred.
Microsoft Certification desirable but not required.
Design, deployment, administration experience in support of Virtual
Technologies including VMware ESX 3.5, ESXi 5x and vSphere 5.0 in a
business critical production environment.
Recognized as an expert with Windows operating systems in a VMware vSphere
suite (experience with all the features included in Enterprise Plus Edition
with Cisco Nexus 1000v distributed switch integration) with emphasis on VM
design, large-scale deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Systems administration to provide maintenance and support to IT Enterprise
Infrastructure on IBM Blade Center/Blade Servers in a Vmware 3.5 and 4.0
and 5x environments.
Willingness and ability to produce high quality operational documentation,
including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as
well as detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the
build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.
Exposure to other Datacenter virtualization products a plus.

Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult
situations
Ability to maintain high-quality work while managing multiple critical
projects
Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users
Excellent customer service skills and demeanor
Organizational skills a must
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
