*Position: Infrastructure/System Administrator-SpecializedLocation: East Peoria, ILDuration: 12+ Months Contract* *Required:* 2 years infrastructure experience with IBM WebSphere Process Server and/or IBM Websphere Lombardi Edition and/or IBM Business Process Manager Advanced Edition - 2 years experience with Linux or other Unix-style Operating Systems (preferably Red Hat Linux) - General knowledge of Infrastructure technologies (VMWare, Servers, Databases, Networking) Desired: - Experience with Unix scripting languages (such as Bash and Perl) - Infrastructure experience with WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) Additional Skills Preferred but not required: - Experience with IBM Information Server or IBM DataStage - Experience with IBM MQ *Summary:* The main function of an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator - Specialized is to provide technical and/or team leadership to the team that install, configure, and support software and tools that are specialized utility programs utilizing software packages or proprietary software languages including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions within the technical infrastructure of the organization and assume responsiblility for the team monitoring the network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance and issue resolution. *Job Responsibilities:* Acts as team leader for development and support groups. Provides project management and systems leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members. Analyze user requests and software requirements for feasibility of design and potential impact while cognizant of time and cost constraints. Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions. Performs implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex in-house developed or purchased software solutions. Complex application problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions. Assists customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts. Prioritize, manage, and track team workload progress as required. Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-shift and during weeknds. Configure, monitor and maintain email applications or virus protection software. *Skills:* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time as well as well as being a collaborative team member. Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements. Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software and its related infrastructure components and/or operating environment identified in the assignment requirements. Teradata, Websphere Application Server, Tomcat Application Server, Networked Attached Storage (NAS), Tivoli Storage Management (TSM), .Net performance, Citrix, Java performance, BMC Remedy, *Education/Experience:* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 7-8 years experience required.
