*Citrix Technical Analyst*
*Duration:1 year contract *
*Location: Minneapolis, MN*
*Phone Hire*
Position Purpose
* Work with "BU contacts" to define their Windows server requirements,
providing them with recommendations, and implementing the agreed upon
solution.
* Work with the Lifecycle team to assist in migrating Citrix Servers
from XenApp 4.5 or 5.0 to XenApp 6.5.
* Troubleshooting of various types of Citrix related issues on
productive systems.
* Create, deploy, and fine-tune published applications and published
desktops.
* Leverage Windows Scripting and Group Policy skills to make
enhancements to Citrix environment.
* Assist in onboarding of XenDesktop, Quest, or Microsoft Remote
Desktop Services to work with Windows 2012 R2.
* Leverage technical leadership and Citrix knowledge to drive solutions
to the level 3 Citrix related issues that occur within our global
environment.
Experience
* 5+ years of Citrix technical experience in an enterprise environment.
* Experience designing and implementing complex Windows Server
solutions.
* Technical support experience in an enterprise networked (LAN/WAN)
environment.
* Familiarity in a global enterprise with:
* Windows 2003 & 2008 Server OS
* Citrix
* VMware
* Dell Hardware
Skills
* Effectively participate in a virtual, global, diverse, distributed
team.
* Strong problem-solving / customer service skills.
* Ability to quickly cut through issues and choose best solutions and
course of action.
* Demonstrated project leadership ability.
* Knowledge or experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change,
Configuration)
