***Final Round Skype Interview for Non-Locals*** *My client is in need of a Sr. UI Developer to read and understand business requirements, functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs and produce high quality production level code. Design technical solutions to solve complex business problems. Ability to drill deep into subject matter with the expectation to evolve as subject matter expert on current systems. Performs research and analysis - recommending solutions and driving decisions. Serves as a "point person" for specific technical expertise. This candidate should be a strong utility type of programmer with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently between different technologies and tasks. The candidate should be able to interact effectively with project managers, developers, technical operations, etc. * *Required:* *Minimum of six years OO analysis and design experience. * *Development experience with Java. * *Minimum three years of front-end UI development. * *Minimum three years working in both Unix/Linux and Wintel environments. * *Current experience working with app servers – preferably WebLogic * *Experience in various Java server related technologies, such as EJB and Spring * *Strong knowledge of the UNIX/Linux Operating system: shells, file systems, symbolic links, process management, etc. * *Poven design experience in large-scale, enterprise-style financial services applications. * *Ability to lead a team of developers in a large scale project following an Agile methodology. * *Full development lifecycle experience as a technical lead.
