Backfill for our candidate!! Need Candidates! We are looking for a Senior UI Lead Developer to join a team developing a large scale, single-page web application written using the Ext JS 4 framework. The application is meant to serve as a model for future application architectures for the organization. This Senior UI Lead Developer will be working with a team comprised of on-shore and off-shore UI engineers with varying levels of experience in the extJS framework. The person will provide design, governance and development mentoring to team members. This person needs to be an expert in extJS and JavaScript development who has operated in a Senior UI Lead Developer capacity on large scale projects. *Must Have:* 8+ yrs IT experience 5+ yrs Object Oriented JavaScript 3 years of experience designing event based user interfaces using extJS . High competency in CSS v3. Solid knowledge of the MVC design pattern Experience using AJAX / JSON processing against RESTful web services in JavaScript Experience building custom controls/widgets, extending built-in components, custom themeing Proficiency developing cross-browser, event-driven, secure web applications using: JavaScript, AJAX, REST, JSON, JSP, XML, CSS, DOM Preferred Items: Java server-side development, preferably with the Spring Framework Familiarity with cross-browser issues with older browsers - particularly IE7 Strong knowledge / familiarity working with UX Strengths in analyzing and debugging performance issues Experience with UI test automation frameworks like Selenium Requires expertise in extJS v4.x, CSS3. The ability mentor and support other developers in best practices of extJS and Rich Internet Application (RIA) design and development.
