*Network Engineer* *Location: Newport Beach, CA* *Duration: Long Term* *Will hire off of phone* *Must have:* Key Cisco skills listed, Strong Network Engineer who's worked in a Datacenter environment *Requirements:* · Hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent with Eight + years of progressive experience in network engineering, security and telecommunications environment. CCIE or equivalent is a plus. · Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a highly dynamic and fast-pace environment with changing priorities. · Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. · Provide second-tier team support and Participate in on-call support rotation schedule. · Strong understanding of compute virtualization architectures. *Expert level knowledge in:* · IP Internetworking design and troubleshooting. · Datacenter management and support. · In-depth knowledge of network management, QoS, network availability and capacity planning. · Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PIM Multicast). · LAN, WLAN, and WAN circuits and protocols (Ethernet, MPLS, DMVPN, etc). · Expertise on latest Cisco hardware and operating systems (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS). · State-full firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Virtual Private Network. · Network Virtualization technologies (VRF, VDC, Nexus1kv). · Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE). · Cisco Unified Communication (UC) supporting both Voice and Video. · Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS) *Job Description: Responsibilities:* · Validate project requirements, define scope, develop schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects. · Plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies and upgrades in support of defined requirements generated by internal customers and growth demands. · Generates documentation including detailed network design, configuration templates, deployment and test plans. · Performs analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems. · Builds simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues. · Assists with deployment and strategy of tools and related Network Management Systems. · Assists with management of the network infrastructure consisting of routers, switches, security and compute resources.
