*JOB DESCRIPTION*
- Define, implement, maintain and optimize network infrastructure to
meet customers goals and objectives
- Responsible for engineering & implementation services
- Provide Level 3 support for both infrastructure administration and
technical support
- Work closely with customers to resolve networking problems across a
wide range of technologies
- Ensure high quality technical documents are produced quickly and
accurately
- Enhance and implementation of network infrastructure to provide fast
and reliable services to applications and users
- Troubleshooting of network problems.
- Research and development of new technologies for secure network
communication.
- Participation in meeting and coordination with other departments
during the duration of the project.
- Establishing connectivity and deployment of hardware and software.
- Hardware research and recommendation.
- Communicate with vendors and perform product evaluations.
- *5years of related experience*
*Required Knowledge, Skills:*
- Comprehensive knowledge of network architectures and equipment with
preferred Cisco background.
- Good working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, IPX, SNA, BGP,
EIGRP, OSPF, RIP).
- Experience designing and implementing TCP/IP networks including
addressing, IP routing, DHCP, DNS, WINS, SNMP.
- Comprehensive knowledge of network management strategies, techniques,
and options
Knowledge of network security products and utilities.
- Strong Organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Understanding of DNS/DHCP implementations and concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of Internet technology.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and ability to work
independently when required.
