*Junior SharePoint Administrator * *Duration: Long term * *Location: Boston, MA* *Must come in person to INTERVIEW* *This position will require the successful candidate to:* · Work with other technical professionals at OSD and the Information Technology Division (ITD) to design, install and document OSD SharePoint Server Installation on one (1) designated environment at the Massachusetts ITD · Develop and implement a strategy to train and rollout SharePoint to approximately 120 users at OSD · Develop curriculum, user training materials and technical documentation · Perform management and monitoring of the SharePoint Server for the length of the engagement · Maintain and install updates and upgrades as they become available · Establish and ensure regular system, file and data backups are successfully performed · Provide regular updates to IT Management at OSD · Perform knowledge transfer with existing technical staff at OSD · Plan for expanded use of SharePoint · Perform other tasks as assigned *Primary Responsibilities* · The selected individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting the SharePoint systems environment. · Individual will be engaged in creating/ editing security groups, creating sites, integrating web services, patch management, log analysis. · Configure out-of-box features like excel services, work flows and info-path forms. · Implement standardized change control procedures. *Qualifications* *Education, Skills and Competencies* · 3-5 years of experience provisioning, implementing and supporting complex web systems with SharePoint 2010 and 2013 and IIS Windows server environment. · Must know how to install, configure and maintain SharePoint 2013 web application. · 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database (Ver 2008 / 2012). · Technology and Applications: MS IIS Web server, HTML, MS Active Directory and LDAP, TeamFoundation Server (TFS), .NET, MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint 2013, SSL and other digital certificates. · Deep understanding of SharePoint for SharePoint 2013 and 2010 architectural considerations and best practices for high-availability, clustering and disaster recovery. · Need to Powershell commands to administer SharePoint web applications. · Experience setting up SharePoint 2013 farm with all services highly desired Thanks & regards Ashok Kumar | IDC Technologies, Inc.
