*Job Title: SAP SD & MM Functional Consultant *
*Location: Napa, CA*
*Duration: 12-18 months*
*Start: 2/24*
*Brief Role Description *
Provide OTC support in all phased of project life cycle - Design, Build,
Test, Training, Roll-out, and Post Production Support. Resolve defects in
the SAP production environment and work on system enhancement requests.
*Key Job Responsibilities *
This position requires high level of system & configuration knowledge in
the area of Order To Cash area who can prepare a techno functional
documentation for any system enhancements & configuration to development or
other teams. Should be capable to work with cross-functional team(s) to
identify the systems needs of assigned customer group(s) and the software
packages and systems platforms to meet those needs. Provide guidance on
project planning and management support to ensure project completion on
time. May act as ERP lead for a project and coordinate the technical
efforts of other IT groups and external vendors to ensure the effective
development, modification, testing and implementation of systems to meet
customer needs. Develop documentation, training and other materials as
needed by customers. Actively participate with customer groups in the
planning for longer-term systems enhancements. May perform other related
duties as required and/or assigned. This position interacts with all levels
of internal customers and external vendors. That interaction requires
excellent oral communication and customer service skills in identifying
business needs and facilitating the implementation of technical solutions.
The incumbent works on problems of diverse scope and moderate to high
complexity where analysis of data requires a review of identifiable
factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures. The
incumbent normally receives minimal instruction on routine work and general
instruction on new assignments.
*Desired Experience Range *
A minimum of 6 years of SAP OTC SD & MM configuration / support experience
. At least 2 full life cycle implementations and production support
experience
*Technical - Required Skills *
Working knowledge of SAP OTC systems with Order Entry, Case Management,
Advanced Pricing, including touch points with other E1 modules and external
systems. Coordinate with OTC , other business and IT partners, data
architect and development teams, as necessary, to assess the technical
feasibility of requirements, develop solutions, support systems testing.
Identify, analyze, develop, and document requirements and other ad hoc
requests in accordance with Company standards, processes, and
methodologies. Trouble-shooting of functionality and defects, reports, new
user setup, data inquiries, and other ad-hoc requests
*Functional - Required Skills *
"must have really good client management skills, strong functional SAP
SD/MM resource, be the onsite/offshore coordinator/liaison between the
client and Deloitte offshore team, must have really good people skills.
Must demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical skills and project
management skills in addition to completing assigned tasks and projects
proactively in a timely and accurate manner with little supervision.
Works with the OTC users and the technical development team to translate
requirements into technical specifications. Must demonstrate the ability to
communicate in a concise, efficient, effective and personable manner in
addition to developing strong relationships with our business partners.
Individual should be able to lead and facilitate small to mid-size groups
to achieve project objectives."
