Please review the below Job Description and let me know if you are comfortable *Performance Tester* *Location: Montvale, NJ* *Duration: Long Term contract* *Phone and face to face* Responsibilities include: Ø Create performance test scripts and scenarios; execute performance tests; analyze results for bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations. Ø Develop test strategy, test plan, test cases, checklists, and document test reports Ø Troubleshoot test scripts and create data sets when needed Ø Provide support for various application areas on new projects and work with various technologies+ Ø Produce operational best practices and procedures to ensure performance and scale SLA's are sustained. Ø Implement, maintain, and administer HP Quality Center Test Management tool for various application projects. Responsible for Quality Center administration, user accounts setup, project workflow setup, installation, evaluation, training, and others. Manage Quality Center users, connections, and licenses; define database servers; and modify Quality Center configurations. Ø Provide Quality Center training to various project teams. Ø Coordinate and conduct enterprise testing of products. Manage 3-8 projects at a time Ø Prepare detailed estimate of total testing activities Ø Supervise test team and test execution process. Ø Responsible for HP testing tools (Quality Center, QuickTest Pro, LoadRunner) installation, upgrades, evaluations, recommendations, and environment readiness. Ø Work closely with Project Leads, Development staff, and Management in order to validate that all predetermined specifications are appropriately considered Required Skills: Ø Experience with implementing QA process design, standards, and process improvement. Ø Expertise in agile software methodologies and its implementation Ø Must have experience using QA Tools such as QuickTest Pro, LoadRunner and Quality Center Ø Extensive LoadRunner scripting experience. Ability to set up workload profile for test scenarios to accurately mimic test requirements Ø Extensive experience working with many different protocols (Web, Web Services, MQSeries, Java, etc.), systems/equipment monitoring, troubleshooting errors, and understanding transaction failures. Ø Foster continuous improvement of existing processes Ø Continually search out new tools and technologies to improve QA functions. Ø The ability to analyze, understand and troubleshoot large-scale systems Ø Must have experience in implementing test environment. Ø Must be able to work independently across multiple projects at a time while following a formal process. Ø Experience with integrating Quality Center with other HP tools such as LoadRunner and QuickTest Pro. Ø Experience troubleshooting and configuring QC issues to support users and projects. Strong troubleshooting skills with HP tools. Ø This person will also need to work collaboratively with other engineers within the organization and help reproduce, drill down and identify performance issues. Ø Ability to write technical reports and understand the test requirements. Ø Previous experience with Performance Center. Ø Good knowledge of relational databases and data stores. Ø Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ø Strong innovation, problem solving, and conceptual thinking abilities Ø Strong communication and project management skills. Ø Must be a self-starter and highly motivated. Ability to deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
