Please review the below Job Description and let me know if you are comfortable *JD Edwards Developer* * Location: Chicago, I IL* * Duration: 9 months +* We have an ecellent opportunity for a JD Edwards Dewloper to playan important role in our growing, market leading organization. Provide both dewlopment and technical support on the JD Edwards Enterprise One platform. This position will be a part of the team of developers working with Finance users to design system solutions to meet current and future business requirements. This will be a trawling postiion where relocation is not required and you haw the abilityto work from home when not trawling. Responsibilities * Participates in the development and post implementation support of JOE Enterprise One enhancement projects. * Perform modifications to existing JOE objects, new reporVinterface development using JOE Dewlopment Toolset (Object l\/1anagement Workbench). * Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from financial system users located in disparate company locations. * Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions bypresenting dewlopment options based on best practices. * Produce user documentation for applications developed. Qu alifications * .Abilityto travel 40% of the time will be required. * Minimum 5 years of eJCl)erience of prior EDI programming * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/CIS or equivalent BJCPBrience is required. * EJCl)erience with JOE ERP 8.0 or later development, object oriented programming and extensive and varied EDI mapping. * Extensive eJCPerience in Oracle JD Edwards One World plication, UBE, TC, BSFN, NER and Interface design, development and maintenance. * Extensiw eJCPerience in dewloper unit testing. * EJCPerience with distributed application development in a client/server environment (preferably iSeries) is desired. * EJCPerience developing and troubleshooting DcLink scripts. * Knowledge of One World functional modules in Finance and Supply Chain is considered a plus. * Database knowledge of DB2 is considered a plus. * Knowledge of the Enterprise One Tool set and wide range of EDI transaction sets. * Must be familiar with the development life cycle and its implementation.
