*Required Skills:* Engaging customers to understand technical requirements and deliver solutions As Site Reliability Engineer / *DevOps Engineer / Solution Engineer / Reliability Engineer / Site Reliability in operations of a large-scale Internet service With various flavors of Unix and Linux including Redhat, CentOS, Solaris *With systems management tools like Puppet, Nagios, Splunk Operating Java applications and backing databases for performance and stability (*Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Cassandra, Websphere*) Scripting (At least shell and another scripting language, preferably Python) Ability to design and scale sophisticated high-volume Web properties Experience leveraging PaaS computing stacks to deliver solutions A sense of ownership, initiative, and drive Lead technical projects, collaborating with engineering, QA, business and technical operations to Design, Build and Operate technology services. A strong understanding of both the theory and application of foundational protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.
