*Business Analyst on Infrastructure projects (Need someone who started as
a tester and moved into a BA role)*
*Duration: 3 months with extensions*
*Location: FT. Lauderdale, Florida*
*Interview: Webcam to Hire*
*The best fit for this position will be a person who started out in a
testing role and moved to a BA role from there. Candidates must have
experience working on infrastructure projects and will be doing some
testing as well*
The Business Analyst identifies quantifiable requirements for a project,
providing support during the project lifecycle to adhere to those
requirements. Ensures a successful attainment of project goals and
objectives keeping scope in alignment.
Role
The Business Analyst is engaged at project initiation, a principal in goal
and objective identification. Once goals and objectives are identified, the
BA identifies requirements to meet those goals and objectives. They serve
as a member of the project team through execution, and providing guidance
to the team the specifics of satisfying the requirements.
Responsibilities
• Co-ownership along with implementation manager and project
manager in developing the Project Framework(Charter)
• Understand Stakeholder(Citrix users, IT Leadership) needs
• Define goals and objectives
• Identify features and benefits that will be provided
• Develop clear requirements to provide features and benefits
• Produce a Project Requirements Document detailing full set of
requirements for Project scope
• Obtain sign-off on Project Requirements Document from
Stakeholders
• Coordinate testing effort with Test Lead
• Assist Test Lead in identifying issues
• Maintain traceability matrix between requirements and
functionality
• Identify issues and provide support during testing
• Work with stakeholders to identify and manage changes to scope
and or requirements
• Clearly and expeditiously communicate change requests to
project team
• Co-ownership along with implementation manager and project
manager of impact assessment prior to go-live
• Adhere to project and Business Analyst standards
• Assist in the facilitation of team meetings
